TO SLEEP, PERCHANCE TO DREAM

....to sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub.
~Hamlet, 1602
Do you get enough sleep?
Right now we are living the sleep deprived life to help our son with his medications.
Due to his late shiftwork, one of has to get up at midnight to make certain that he has taken his meds.
By the time all is said and done, it is usually 1 am before we get back to sleep.
...and it's every night...

I feel tired just thinking about it.
But sacrifice is part of the game and caregivers
give away their lives
each and every
day.
So you deserve a break!
Here's a great musical skit with a sleep deprived musician dreaming up
a very funny alternative to
the boring music he's been given.
from the Piano Guys, here's
I love these little breaks, don't you?

And here's your flower for a job well done this week.
It's called Angelonia and it's from my garden.

See you next time and hang in there.
Things will get better.

WHEN LIFE GETS OVERWHELMING

Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

This week we have felt overwhelmed.
It's easy to feel this way when so many things are coming at you at the same time. This week our loved one had a very difficult day.
He skipped his medicine
so his OCD stuck him with an issue
 about his shoelaces.
He didn't go to work because he was running late.
We are now considering  hospitalization
to help him with his medication.
As a caregiver the whole psychiatric hospital scenario is indeed overwhelming.
So for now let's put that one on the shelf and enjoy a different type
 of overwhelming scenario.

Here's a clip from "I Love Lucy" that's easy to identify with.
That's it for this week. Hang in there!

And your flower for this week:
Black foot daisies from my garden.
