People were designed to be loved. They seek it, they hold on to it,
and they get better when it happens.
On the other hand,
no person wants to be tolerated.
We don't like to be tolerated.
We push away from people who just tolerate us.
With OCD, our son is often misunderstood.
The tapping, the touching, the extra movements...
all show up on human radar as strange.
Something to be tolerated.
As parents, the movements are something we can easily accept.
That's because we love him.
